In its eco-sustainability policy, Aros has focused its research and development efforts on other aspects that impact the environment: reduced energy consumption. Thanks to the adaptive battery management to prolong the battery life and to reduce the wear on other consumables, to the low total harmonic distortion (THDi <3% in the latest generation UPS) and the adaptive “Smart Mode” operation in which the UPS selects itself the best mode of operation, Aros UPS allow top efficiency with a substantial reduction of energy waste.





From energy consumption point of view all UPSs are defined from the European Commission Code of Conduct (CoC), a document which outlines the efficiency levels to reach for specific size band from 10 to 800kVA. The complete Aros product range compliese with the CoC recommendation but the units that are more efficient with such prescriptions are identified with the ECO symbol.

The new UPS models in the range below 3kVA are now covered by the ECO Economy logo that identifies the adoption of innovative technical solutions to reduce energy consumption.
